Mood Matcha Porridge

Step up your winter breakfast game with this creamy Mood Matcha Porridge. For this recipe we used organic quinoa flakes instead of oats, making the porridge naturally gluten-free. We have used persimmon, juicy pomegranate seeds, yoghurt and a drizzle of Zen Honey as our porridge toppings. Smells and tastes divine. 

Ingredients

*This recipe makes a bulk amount of dry mix so you can scoop, heat and serve each morning without the time needed for prep. Just store in a glass jar, and feel free to add dried fruit if you like, raisins, goji and even chopped dates would work well.

2 cups organic quinoa flakes
3 TBS organic desiccated coconut
2 TBS organic chia seeds
2 TBS sunflower seeds
2 TBS organic coconut sugar
1 TBS Storm + India Mood Matcha Powder
2 tsp organic cinnamon

How to Make

Mix the dry ingredients all together and store. 
When you are ready to prepare, scoop your desired portion into a pot, around ½ - ¾ cup of mix is what we have used here. Add in 1 cup of your chosen milk, we have used coconut milk. Stir through and gently heat on the stove. Serve with sliced fresh, and seasonal fruit, some thick coconut yoghurt and a drizzle of Storm + India Zen Honey.
